The funding has been awarded as part of Local Biodiversity Grants.
Nationally funding of €376,000 has been made available.
Within that €14,350 was awarded to projects based in Wicklow.
The Tidy Towns group from Bray and Enniskerry, the Tinahely Community Project and Newcastle Residents Association will all receive funding to implement local biodiversity plans, education and information projects and engaging local residents to protect and preserve their local environment.
In a statement Green Party TD Steven Mathews said "Organisations with grants can create a community biodiversity action plan and seek funding to implement it. They can then share their data with the National Biodoversity Data Centre, making a valuable contribution to citizen science."
