Man Due In Court After Back-To-Back Robberies In Bray

A man in his 40s has been charged in connection with two armed robberies in Bray yesterday afternoon. (Thursday, 20th)

Gardaí were alerted after a man entered a business premises on Kilbride Lane just after 3pm, armed with a weapon.

He threatened staff before leaving the scene with a number of items.

A short time later, he entered a second premises on Herbert Road where he again threatened staff with a weapon before taking items and leaving.

No injuries were reported in either incident.

Following a search of the area, Gardaí arrested a man in his 40s.

He was detained for questioning at Bray Garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

He has since been charged and is due to appear before a special sitting of Bray District Court this morning.
