Wicklow T.D. John Brady says the government has is to address a situation in Wicklow and around the country, where property owners in flood affected areas are being treated in a blatantly unfair manner.
He's put forward legislation in the Dáil, aimed at protecting the right of homeowners and businesses, to ensure they can secure insurance in areas affected by flooding, where flood relief work has been carried out by the Office of Public Works.
Deputy Brady says parts of Bray and Arklow have faced this problem for years and he's called for cross party backing to his proposal.
