The dog park in Wicklow town was officially opened yesterday by Councillor Gail Dunne.

The dog park at the Murrough in Wicklow town was officially opened yesterday by Councillor Gail Dunne.

The park had already been open to dog walkers for a few months, but the official opening marked a day of celebration for all of the hard work that had been put into the site. The park has been cited as a welcome addition to existing amenities in the town that makes good use of a formerly derelict piece of land.
