Despite the easing of restrictions in recent weeks, it’s still uncertain whether annual summer events in Wicklow will go ahead this year.
The Bray Jazz festival which normally takes place on the May bank holiday weekend was cancelled for a second time, but organisers say they hope to hold the event later in the year, if restrictions allow.
Organisers of the Bray Air Display say this year’s event won’t be going ahead, while in our neighbouring county , the Dun Laoghaire regatta committee revealed at the beginning of the month that their Biennial event won’t be taking place this year, due to the ongoing “uncertainties” over the Covid-19 pandemic.
