Three men have been arrested over alleged harassment of the Taoiseach Simon Harris.
Gardaí in the Wexford-Wicklow Division, supported by the Special Detective Unit, arrested the men, in their 40s and 30s, earlier this morning.
Gardai say it's part of ongoing investigations into the alleged harassment of an elected official. The men are being detained at Garda Stations in Wicklow.
Protestors arrived outside the Taoiseach's home on two occasions recently.
Two of the men are being questioned about an incident last week, while one is being questioned about an incident in May.
UPDATE:
The two males in their 40’s and the male in his 30’s arrested as part of this investigation have been released without charge and a file will be prepared for the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Investigations are ongoing.
