A woman left in a critical condition following a vicious knife attack in Arklow last weekend, has lost her fight for life.
Nadine Lott, who was in her 30s, passed away in hospital yesterday after sustaining serious injuries during the attack in her apartment in Arklow in the early hours of last Saturday morning.
Gardai say the results of a post mortem examination will determine the course of the investigation.
A 32-year-old Dublin man was charged in connection with the incident on Monday. Daniel Murtagh, with an address at Melrose Grove in Clondalkin, was refused bail at Bray District Court and remanded in custody to appear at Cloverhill District Court tomorrow.
