Meanwhile a local electoral area in Donegal has a rate of Covid that's over four times the national average.
Carndonagh's 14-day rate is 1,880 cases per 100,000 population - the highest in the country.
Buncrana, also in Donegal, has the second highest rate, at 1,212 - followed by Westport and Swinford in Mayo.
