Gardaí are asking anyone saw who him, or his van - a white Mercedes-Benz Sprinter registration 96-D-22788 with a red stripe on both sides between Bath Avenue in Dublin 4 and Leixlip in County Kildare to make themselves known.
Gardaí are also appealing for information on the movement of a silver/grey Volvo S40 between Leixlip, and Manor Kilbride in West Wicklow on the same date.
The man in his 30s arrested yesterday remains in custody in Leixlip Garda Station where he can be held for up to a week.
