A Wicklow man who was found guilty of manslaughter last December, after stabbing another man forty times at his home, is due to be sentenced today.
Darren Houlden, of The Crescent, Meadowvale in Arklow, attacked Stephen Kavanagh in the early hours of the 6th of May in 2019. He denied murder but admitted manslaughter, claiming he had been provoked.
