A Wicklow father has appealed to parents to ensure they know what their children are doing at all times after his family have been targeted in a campaign of hatred and racism at their home in North Bray over the last year.
Joe Lawless says his wife, who is from the Philippines and his stepdaughter who has being diagnosed with autism, have been subjected to taunts and racist insults by a gang of children, who have now resorted to throwing eggs and banging on their hall door at night.
Speaking to East Coast FM’s Morning Show, Joe said it all started when his daughter began looking out of her window. He said he has had a lot of support from the community, but this gang have continued their campaign.
