The preferred route for a greenway in South Wicklow is due to be published in the coming weeks.The project would create a shared cycleway and footpath for pedestrians along a 38km route from Shillelagh to Arklow train station.
Joe Lane the Director of Service responsible for the Arklow-Shillelagh Greenway confirmed that the engineering team were directly finalising their engagement with landowners and that the prefered route will be published in the a matter of weeks.
