Officials Say Digital Cert Will Be Accessible Through Covid Tracker App

Ireland’s Covid tracker app will be upgraded so it can be used to show the new Digital Covid Cert.

Officials expect the new system to be in place on Friday July 23rd at the latest.

Indoor dining and international travel will return next week for those fully vaccinated or recovered from Covid.

The new app feature will work by displaying a QR code linked to a person’s Digital Cert.

The aim now is to get all the Covid certs out by next Monday, although some may not be delivered until near the end of next week.
