Wicklow County Council has granted planning permission for a new state-of-the-art media campus in Greystones.
The facility on 18-hectares of IDA owned land at Killincarrig will comprise of 14 TV and film studios, offices and ancillary production buildings when complete.
Greystones Media Campus Limited put forward the plans earlier this year and will now look to create up to 1,200 jobs for the local economy.
The firm has committed to address a number of environmental, landscaping and traffic safety considerations raised by the Council that formed part of the planning agreement.
