The Health Minister says Minister of State in the Department of Finance Sean Fleming is to meet with the owners of Squirrel Scramble in North Wicklow.
The popular Bray attraction says it may have to close permanently if it is unable to secure insurance at a level it can afford. Management have seen their rates increase from €26,000 to 88,000 in the space of a year.
The park which has more than 50 different challenges, has been entertaining families and corporate groups since 2014. The issue was raised in the Dail earlier today by Wicklow T.D.s John Brady and Jennifer Whitmore.
