The Housing Minister says homeless figures have reached a new record high.
The Department of Housing has indicated 46 people in Wicklow were among more than 12,400 nationwide who were accessing emergency accommodation May.
Darragh O'Brien says he's "disappointed" but has welcomed the fact that the increase is less than the figures seen over the past two months.
However Minister O'Brien says that'll be of no comfort to those directly impacted.
