Heavy downpours are forecast across parts of the country over the next few days.
A status yellow warning for rain came into effect overnight for Kilkenny, Wexford, Cork, Tipperary and Waterford.
Up to 50mm of rain is expected, with a risk of spot flooding in places.
The warning is valid until midday tomorrow.
