A male was arrested and questioned after drugs worth an estimated street value of around €2,000 following a Garda raid of a property in Wicklow Town at lunchtime on Friday.
A male was arrested and questioned after drugs worth an estimated street value of around €2,000 following a Garda raid of a property in Wicklow Town at lunchtime on Friday. An eagle-eyed member of Wicklow Gardaí spotted some suspicious activity which led to the raid of the property. Cannabis and cocaine valued at €2,000 was seized, with most of the drugs already packaged for sale. A telephone was also seized during the raid. A male was subsequently arrested at a different location and brought to Wicklow Garda Station, where he was interviewed and then released. A prosecution for the sale and supply of the drugs is due to follow.
