Tributes are being paid to former Wicklow Fianna Fail councillor Pat Doran, who passed away yesterday.
Pat, who was from Carnew, served the community of South Wicklow since he was first elected to local politics in 1985, up to 2019. He is fondly remembered by his party colleague Senator Pat Casey, who says Pat Doran was highly respected.
His Funeral will take place tomorrow Tuesday afternoon, with removal from his home at half past one to Tomacork Church, arriving for Funeral Mass at 2 o'clock, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
