Dublin had the highest disposable income in 2021.
That's according CSO data released today looking at each county's income and GDP.
The average level of disposable income in the capital in 2021 sat at €27,958, with Limerick and WIcklow coming in with the next largest figures.
This is a significant contrast with Donegal which has the lowest coming in at just over €19,250 250, followed by Laois and Kilkenny also at the bottom of the table.
When it comes to the level of social benefits received in each county Longford had the most, while Kilkenny had the least.
The stats today show the Border and Midlands consistently falling below the state average for wealth generation and income, while 30% of the entire employed population in that year worked in Dublin.
