Cllr Stokes is seeking to make infrastructure, amenities and biodiversity as key priorities.
Cllr Stephen Stokes has been elected Cathaoirleach of the Greystones Municipal District. Cllr Stokes stated:
"It is a great honour to serve the Greystones District. I will be seeking to make a positive impact for all residents in Charlesland, Delgany, Greystones, Kilcoole, Killadreenan and Newcastle. I would like to thank my fellow Councillors for their support. There is plenty of work to do, and I am looking forward to the challenge ahead."
Cllr Stokes is seeking to make infrastructure, amenities and biodiversity as key priorities as Cathaoirleach. He added:
"I have been listening carefully to local residents. We have seen phenomenal housing development across the area. I believe that we now need decisive investment, especially in public transport, schools, recycling and more. As part of any future development we should also strive to ensure that the environment and biodiversity are given adequate consideration."
