Blessington Community College’s Student Environmental Council will host Wicklow’s inaugural Youth Biodiversity Conference on Wednesday, April 2, from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm.
Supported by Wicklow County Council, the event will see students from first to fifth year that have been actively engaged with environmental topics further these efforts by involving even more students. The primary objective of the Youth Biodiversity Conference is to amplify the voices of young people, empowering them to speak out about the ongoing biodiversity crisis and inspire further action.
The organising committee has hand-picked key topics to ignite passion and foster a lasting commitment to sustainability among attendees.As part of the process, Blessington Community College students will provide biodiversity workshops where students from the committee can present their own findings with conference participants.
