Former Ireland hockey international Catriona Carey briefly appeared in court today, in relation to allegations of money laundering.
46-year-old Catriona Carey who is from Kilkenny but has an address at Rochford Manor, Graiguecullen, Co Carlow, faces multiple charges in relation to financial fraud and money laundering.
These alleged offences were said to have been committed over three successive years, from 2019 to 2021.
While co-defendants Paddy Maher, of Glenmalure Gun Club, Co Wicklow, and John Steadmond, with an address at Rossminogue, Craanford, Gorey, Co Wexford, are accused of acting unlawfully as solicitors while not being qualified from July 2019 to February 2022.
Lawyers for all three told the court this morning that they are seeking an arraignment date.
All three will appear in court again on June 30th.
