Shoppers in Wicklow are being advised to check any ready meals purchased from SuperValu stores following an urgent product recall.
The Food Safety Authority of Ireland has recalled a number of Pettitt's Kitchen ready meals due to the possible presence of Listeria, which can cause illness.
The affected products include a range of soups, side dishes and prepared meals sold in SuperValu stores across Wicklow, Wexford and Kildare. We've attached the list of products here
Customers are being advised not to consume any recalled products and to return them to the store where they were purchased.
Retailers have removed the affected items from sale and recall notices have been displayed in stores.
