A house in County Wicklow has won this year’s series of RTÉ programme Home of the Year.
The farmhouse is 150 years old, is owned by couple Kate and Shane Byrne and has been in Shane’s family for decades.
When they moved in, in 2018, they added an extension to create an open plan living space with natural light.
The property captured the attention of judges Hugh, Amanda and Sara and was declared Home of the Year during the final on RTÉ One Television.
