Wicklow Gaol Break Half Marathon And 10 km Road Race Force Road Closures.

Road to be closed

Kilmantin Hill (L-1600) from the junction at R750 to the junction at New Street (L-5715), Wicklow Town, Co Wicklow

Period of closure

Sunday the 24^th March, 2024 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm

Alternative Routes

North Bound Traffic from Dunbur Road (R-750) turn right onto Castle Street (L-5708) then left onto Quarantine Hill (L-5707), right onto Quay Lane (L-5706) and left onto South Quay (L-5705) returning to R-750 via Bridge Street (L-1700).

South Bound proceeding along R-750, proceeding west, turn right onto New Street (L-5715).

HGV’s and Buses will be assisted through the closure.

Reason for Closure

This road closure is necessary in order to facilitate the Wicklow Gaol Break Half Marathon and 10 km Road Race
