The Wicklow constituency has been reduced from 5 seats to 4 seats going into the next general election, so at least one sitting TD will lose out.
West Wicklow's Edward Timmins and East Wicklow's Shay Cullen will battle it out to have their name on the ballot alongside the Taoiseach.
