The number of incidents of illegal dumping in Wicklow is on the increase, with a number of reports about people camping in scenic areas and abandoning tents and leaving bags of rubbish behind, despite the travel restrictions.
One Video posted online last Sunday, shows several abandoned tents, sleeping bags and other pieces of camping equipment along with a large amount of rubbish on the shores of Lough Dan.
