A yellow wind warning will come into force across the entire country from 1 o’clock tomorrow morning as Storm Aiden prepares to make landfall.
The wind alert will increase to an Orange warning for Wicklow, along with Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Waterford, Cork and Kerry from 5 o’clock tomorrow morning and will stay in place until 10 am, with gusts of up to 130 kilometres per hour forecast before falling back to a yellow warning.
The orange alert will be extended to Donegal, Galway, Mayo, Sligo and Clare and from 8am until 4pm tomorrow afternoon.
