Wicklow County Council has opened a tender process on future plans for the Bray to Greystones Cliff Walk
The successful company will inspect the Cliff Walk for at-risk areas along the coastline due to coastal erosion and publish the findings in a report in Spring.
"It's time to pursue a decisive and comprehensive plan," said Cllr Stephen Stokes.
"Going out to tender for a detailed assessment is a crucial step towards ensuring that we understand the full scope of the issues, and take the necessary action to restore this beautiful coastal path for generations to come," he said.
The seven kilometre walk between Bray and Greystones has been closed to the public since March 2021 due to the collapse of the cliff face.
The closing date for tender applications is 7 February 2025. More information can be found here.
