A man arrested in Wicklow at the weekend on suspicion of drink-driving, was found to have an infant in an unrestrained child’s buggy, instead of a proper child’s seat in his vehicle.
The man was detained last Saturday and that Gardai have confirmed that the child was taken to safety and that the child agency Tusla was notified.The motorist is to be fined €400 and disqualified from driving for six months.
