Minister for Health Wicklow TD Stephen Donnelly has welcomed the news that Squirrel Scramble is set to reopen next year.The attraction at Killruddery House and Gardens in Bray which has more than 50 different challenges, including12 ziplines, spread across 5 levels has been entertaining families and corporate groups since 2014. But the park was forced to close earlier this year, after their next insurance quote rose from €26,000 to 88,000. Following a meeting with Minister of State Peter Fleming, management at the company has secured insurance, allowing them to operate again from the 19th of March. Minister Donnelly says the government is looking at reforming the duty of care requirements, which will give businesses more protections from signed waivers. He says a reform of the Personal Injury Assessment Board is also underway
