The Medical Council has issue a strong warning regarding Dr Regine Grah, who is suspended from the Medical Register by order of the High Court.
The Medical Council is urging patients not to attend a GP practice in Bray, after obtaining a High Court order suspending the doctor's registration.
Dr Regine Grah of Silver Oak Family Practice has been suspended from the Medical Register by order of the High Court and is prohibited from practising medicine. The suspension has been in place since the 17th of July. The Council says it has reason to believe Dr Grah has continued to practise as a GP despite the court order.
STRONG WARNING ISSUED
Patients and members of the public are being strongly advised not to attend Dr Grah or seek appointments or prescriptions from her.
The Medical Council says Dr Grah faces serious allegations concerning the prescribing of controlled drugs, along with other matters identified in complaints before the Council.
It is gravely concerned that if she continues to practise while suspended, it could have serious consequences for patient safety and public protection.
The Council will continue to use its statutory powers to ensure compliance with the suspension order. Dr Grah is due to return before the High Court on the 28th of August.
