60 asylum-seekers have arrived at a site earmarked for migrants in Newtownmountkennedy.
The international protection applicants have been relocated to the HSE owned site at Trudder House.
Numerous protests have taken place in the area in recent weeks with local residents opposed to the plans.
3 men and 1 woman were arrested during alleged violence and public unrest last week at the facility.
Michael and Shane Synott, both from Season Park, Newtownmountkennedy; Ben McNulty of Rossmore Ave, Newtownmountkennedy; and Sharon McCann, of Mountainview Drive, Co Wicklow appeared in Bray District Court.
They’re all charged with the same public order offence – that they were loitering in a public place, namely Trudder Road, Newtownmountkennedy which gave rise to a reasonable apprehension for the safety of persons or the safety of property, or for the maintenance of the public peace, and failed to comply with the direction of a member of An Garda Síochána when told to leave the area immediately.
All four were granted bail, with no objection subject to certain conditions, and are due back in court on the 9th of May.
A juvenile who was also arrested last night has been released without charge, while another man is due to appear in court at a later date.
