A father of four who died after a fishing boat sank off Wexford at the weekend has been named
Poor weather conditions had hampered efforts to find the missing man, who was on a trawler that sank over the weekend.
The Irish Coastguard says conditions 'deteriorated significantly' this morning as the search continues for missing Willie Whelan.
Mr Whelan was on board the trawler that sank off Hook Head in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The body of 65 year old Joe Sinnott, who was also on the vessel, was recovered yesterday.
Despite poor visability , the operation to find Mr Whelan continued this morning.
The Irish Coastguard helicopter Rescue 117, RNLI lifeboats from Kilmore Quay and Dunmore East and the Irish Naval vessel the LE Ciara are all involved in the operation, which is ongoing.
