A group representing restaurants will meet the Central Bank later this week to seek its support for legal action against insurance firms.
The Restaurants Association intends to take test cases on behalf of a group of around 400 businesses hit by the pandemic.
Its legal advisors say they have policies with identical terms to the four pubs which won a case against FBD last month,
