Parts of the Sandymount Seafront in Dublin will be reduced to one way traffic from March 1st to allow for a new cycle route.
Work will begin on installing the cycleway from next Monday, including works at the pedestrian crossings and roundabouts.
However, from next month there will be a number of changes to traffic layouts around the Strand Road area.
A six month trial for a two-way cycle path was given the go-ahead last November following local opposition.
