Bus Eireann have announced they will implement timetable and route changes to the 133 serving County Wicklow by the end of the month.
The move will see increased frequencies on four new routes between Arklow, Avoca, Wicklow Town, Bray and Dublin Airport in both directions during morning and evening rush hour peak times.
The changes will also see an hourly service throughout the day at weekends.
Wicklow TD John Brady says the company had to take the measures after the service was revealed to be among the most complained about, according to figures from the National Transport Authority.
