The suspect in his 60s was arrested today in County Kildare, and is the 7th person to be questioned over operation Lakefront.
He's been taken to Naas Garda Station for questioning.
The arrest was conducted by Detectives from the Anti Corruption Unit attached to the Garda National and Economic Crime Bureau in Kildare.
