Local authority heritage officers in Wicklow and around the country have come together to produce a new booklet, to help people look after wildlife in their gardens. It was produced with help from the National Parks and Wildlife Service and the Heritage Council.
The book details projects under a range of headings, suitable for everyone, from the total beginner to the more ambitious DIY enthusiast.
The Gardening for Biodiversity guide outlines ways to improve gardens for a host of creatures including birds, bees, butterflies and bats.
