A male in County Wexford has become the fourth Covid-19 patient to die in the Republic of Ireland.
The Department of Health confirmed yesterday that 121 more people have tested positive for coronavirus. 906 people are now known to have been infected.
But figures released shows that of the 712 cases diagnosed up to last Friday, Dublin had the highest with 402, followed by Cork with 101, while Galway had 25. Wicklow was fourth highest with 22 confirmed cases.
New testing centres are being opened across the country as the HSE works through a backlog of 40,000 suspect cases.
