The Irish Medical Organisation is calling on the Government to hire 2,000 more doctors and invest 5,000 more beds into the HSE system.
The IMO says there needs to be radical investment, and says doctors are looking ahead to winter with a sense of despair.

206 people are in hospital with the virus, 33 are being treated in ICU.
