HSE Says All 19 Maternity Units Are Fully Compliant With Guidance On Partner Access

HSE guidance says partners should be allowed to visit for a minimum of 30 minutes a day, be facilitated during labour, during the anomaly scan or any other visit of emotional significance and given access to the NICU.

The Oireachtas Health Committee was today told that all 19 of the States maternity units are now compliant.

But a number of TDs read out experiences of constituents which appear to be at odds with the guidance.
