County Council officials have secured funding worth €1.3 million to upgrade footpaths in small towns and villages around Wicklow.
Baltinglass MD– Tinahely 1.R725 – Carnew Road, Shillelagh, Footpath from village to Football pitch - €110,000
2.L7706-Long Hill, Tinahely, from Lugduff to Kilavaney - €110,000
3.L72274- Valley Heights, Carnew replacement footpath housing estate- route from residential to
school - €50,000
4. L3260-Rathdangan Road, Talbotstown-footpath from school/church to Rathdangan junction -
€60,000 An additional €100,000 is also being provided to provide public lighting

2.L4371-Grangecon – Link footpaths across bridge - €37,000
3.L8336 Rathluain – Link estate to existing footpath - €23,000
