A number of harbour projects in County Wicklow are to benefit from a boost in government funding worth over €215,000.
The North and South Quay in Wicklow Town will see the upgrading of existing and the installation of new ladders with handrails while safety signage will be erected at Arklow Harbour.
The North and South Piers in Arklow will also see the installation of LED lighting and associated cabling.
Over 3 million euro has been allocated to 10 local authorities by the Department of Agriculture for coastal development and repair projects nationwide.
