The public are invited to join Janos Köhler, an avid member of Bray Wheelers, as he delivers free Bike Repair and Maintenance Workshops this Autumn across County Wicklow.
These workshops are supported by the Environmental Awareness Office and aim to champion the principles of the circular economy, encourage and support active travel, promote the numerous physical, mental and environmental benefits of cycling.
Janos has been invited back by Wicklow County Council to deliver practical advice on maintaining your bicycle, and will cover among other things, the industry-standard 'M check' safety inspection, bike setup, correct saddle height, changing a puncture, brake, gears and chain care.
Attendees are welcome to bring their bikes and ask any bike related questions on the day. Please note that no repairs shall by carried out on the day by Janos.
The workshops should provide attendees with the skillset required to fix their own bicycle. However, for any complicated repairs attendees should seek help from their local bike shop.
