The number of Pandemic Unemployment Payment has now reached its lowest level since March 2020.
Just over 202,000 people received the payment this week, which is 9,700 fewer than last week. Over 6,500 of those payments are to recipients in County Wicklow.
Social Protection Minister Heather Humphreys says she expects the numbers to fall further into August.
