The Berlin D2 bar in Dublin won't have its licences to operate renewed.
A judge has refused its licences to operate following a boozy brunch at the venue last year.
The Berlin D2 bar on Dame Lane came to public attention on August 15th when an event advertised as a very boozy brunch went viral on social media.
In the footage a masked staff member is seen dancing on the bar as he poured shots into dancing customers mouths - in breach of covid regulations.
The event was described afterwards as 30 seconds of madness.
Today judge Marie Quirke said there was no alternative but to refuse to grant the renewal of its operating licences, and described the conduct as neglectful, irresponsible and disorderly.
