Adam Shankman clarified on Instagram that scenes shot in Ireland will still feature in the film.
Adam Shankman, the director of Disney's Disenchanted, clarified on Instagram that scenes shot in Ireland will still feature in the film, despite the recent reshoots that took place in England.
Disney fans were worried that the scenes shot in and around Enniskerry would be cut after test screenings garnered mixed reviews, causing portions of the film to be reshot in Buckinghamshire and New York.
One fan took to Shankman's Instagram page, saying, "I'm so sad to hear you had to re film all the footage you filmed in Ireland ... Does that mean that we won't see any of Ireland in the movie? I took my daughter to the set in Enniskerry many times and what made it more magical was the fact we would also see it in the movie."
Replying to the comment, Shankman said that "nothing could be further from the truth! All of Ireland is still there! We just shot a couple scenes that had been cut".
It is unclear whether or not the reshoots will delay the film's late 2022 release date.
