Gardaí saw a car going the wrong way in the southbound carriageway after 3am yesterday morning.
Gardaí in Wicklow are questioning a teenager after an incident of dangerous driving in the county.
Officers on patrol saw a car going the wrong way down the N11 in the early hours of yesterday morning.
It happened at Junction 7 Bray in the southbound carriageway just after 3am.
The vehicle was found later in Bray and seized.
A male adult teen has been arrested. He's being held at a Garda station in the Wicklow region.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who was travelling in the area at the time, who may have witnessed the incident, or have camera footage of it, to make it available to Gardaí.
